Villa Marfil Ref.:1887 An Arabian feel lingers over this property with vaulted blue domes above specially created, oriental arches, and distantly spacious roof terraces. A connoisseur can live out his fantasies here. The fountains could be straight out of the Alhambra, the bathroom from the palace of the Emirs, and while a jacuzzi burbles away below one of the deep blue domes, the view trails from here into the distance through a wide picture window to the pool, Altea and the sea. Standing in charming contrast to the dazzling white of the walls is the owners favourite colour of bright arabian blue. The perfect air-conditioning system, mostly without climate controls, also owes something to the arabian example that works well against the cold, is also good against the heat. Every room in the villa reflects prosperity and inventiveness. The view of Altea and the sea is as beautiful as in a picture book. Whoever may find the dazzling beauty too much, from time to time, can retreat to an ice blue grotto deep below the house. There is a finnish sauna, a steam sauna, relaxation areas and cold water set in an artistically created, glacially toned lakeland scene.
